Spring Break and Such

Tyler's spring break was actually a couple of weeks ago but I'll tell you about it now. Tyler studied. The rest of us enjoyed a little extra Daddy time. Other than that there wasn't a whole lot out of the ordinary aside from an excursion (another "Daycation") to Lake Geneva, WI. It was nice to get out of the city for a while but the weather was rainy.

Here is Asher as we walked along the lake during a break in the rain.

And Addilyn. I think it was getting near her naptime.

After some wandering, we enjoyed some quiet and drinks at Caribou Coffee. Mmm.

The sun finally broke through toward the end of the day and we were able to enjoy a beautiful drive through the countryside, taking as many country roads as we could. Tyler and I needed that. On an unrelated note, Addilyn got a new car seat (seeing as Asher needs to move up soon and will need her old one). She's still trying to figure out how to comfortably sleep in it.

Aside from that we had both sets of parents visit us since our last post. We do not have a single picture from either visit. What we do have is a picture of these cupcakes a week and a half after Addilyn's birthday. That's not good.

THREE

Today was Addilyn's third birthday, and it marked the fourth place she has been living on March 9. Here are some pictures. The day was simple, but she was pretty excited all day. We start with the beautiful Addilyn wearing the birthday shirt her mother made her.
Yes, she is only three.

And she is so excited.

See three (not six)

A few days ago we visited campus and Addilyn again found the candy jars, she put this Starburst on the window sill claiming she would eat it after dinner. Days later she found it again. Mmm.
For dinner Addilyn got her choice, and like a true Johnson she chose cereal.
Instead of a cake Erin made cupcakes, MMMMMMMmmmmmm Sprinkles

This is the first time we lit her candles, she liked blowing them out.
The first time she was blowing them out.

Addilyn took a while to really get into her cupcake, apparently it was too messy.

Her present was wrapped with great care.

Addilyn enjoyed her movie (The Incredibles). Her parents may have copped out a little.

She had a great day. Thanks to all who called, sent things, etc. etc.

Random February Photos

Here are a bunch of February photos that didn't have make it into a post.

Asher discovered that he can fit in the space between our couch and the wall. Here he is all caught up in the wires from the electical outlet. Nice, kid.

Addilyn playing after our big mid-month snow.

That's a big snowball!

Ooooh... she got me.

Baby feet.

Where did her leg go?

Climbing Mount Everest.

Cutie boy.

Oh and if anybody missed it on facebook...this showed up this month too.
