Christmas Morn

I don't know why but I took a ton of pictures of us enjoying our Monkey Bread on Christmas morn.
Addilyn liked it.
Tyler thought it was dreamy.
Albert stuffed his face (Asher did too).
And he was pretty happy about it.
Elias stuffed his face too.
We'll chalk my fascination up to the fact that this was known to be one of my last glutened meal.  And it was delicious.  Mmm...happy Christmas morn!

Christmas Eve

After church on Christmas Eve, we celebrated with dinner. We couldn't have just any dinner; we had to have STEAK! Very Christmasy, no?
He likes steak!
We also had some rice pudding and baked sweet potatoes.  So good!!
After dinner, we had special drinks. This year our special drink was hot chocolate.
We even used the chocolate dipped spoons we made during Advent.
Said spoons.
Family picture in front of the tree.
Addilyn read the Christmas story.
Elias was really into it.
First gift... rip!
Next.
Asher seemed smitten by his LEGOs.
"Pens!"
The girls.
The evening ended with the big three sleeping under the Christmas tree.
The End.

Snow Pile

Colin was nice enough to stack up all the snow from around our house (and maybe the neighborhood) into one nice pile so the kids could play on it.
They were pretty excited to play with their new Christmas snow toys.
Summitting Mount Johnson.
Oh, no!  One man lost his footing and is sliding back down!  Oh, the humanity!
Now it's time to try sledding.
It looks like Daddy and Albert were enjoying their maiden voyage.
And now for a ride around the yard.
Now it's Addilyn and Asher's turn to conquer the beast.
This is my favorite picture of the lot.
And check out this monstrosity.
Seriously, he was taller than I am. And now he creepily watches over our children as they play.
The End.

More Christmas

These pictures are getting to be ridiculously old but we're going to ignore that and soldier on.
My parents came right before Christmas to hang and out and celebrate with us.  Addilyn and Grandma played a pretty epic game of Scrabble.
Addilyn won. She was pretty excited.
The boys played Zingo with Grandpa.
Time for presents! A couple of gifts were for the entire group of kids.  I just think it's fun when they all open the gift at once.  Teamwork!
One of those group gifts from G&G B was this.  It's a snowball maker.
Books. Doodling books.
New pjs!  He was pretty excited to cuddle up with them.
Kids' picture calendar.
Addilyn got a new coat. Pretty snazzy!
I'm sure the entire neighborhood will enjoy watching the kids play with this when things get warmer.  They also got a stoplight to help ease traffic concerns as they are peddling around our sidewalks.
Daddy explaining Asher's car building kit.
"Daddy, I'd really like to put this on now."
"Yep, this is just as fuzzy as I thought it would be."
 More group presents.
It's a trailer to pull with the pedal tractor!

We're almost up to Christmas.  I will get us up to date.  Hang in there friends!

Albert's Birthday Party

We had a party to celebrate Albert's birthday.  We waited until the weekend afterward so that my parents could be there to celebrate with us. Mmm...apple cupcakes.
Lick, lick, lick.
Well, he enjoyed the frosting at least.
 Cheese!
Frosting face picture with Momma.
Too much cuteness!!!
Opening one last present from Grandpa and Grandma B.
Oh look, that truck has lights!
So exciting!!!
