I (Tyler) made it to Houston alive. It was about a 9.5 hour trip through the heart of Oklahoma and Texas and boy howdy was it exciting. I found a nice little coffee shop with WiFi and now I'm blogging it up. I a little tired after my trip so this is probably a little disjointed. This picture of Houston is one I stole off of Google Images. The graveyard just happened to come with, or it a grim portent of things to come, I hope not. Now if you'll excuse me I have to go find some milk and cereal or I'll be cranky in the morning. Take Luck and Drive Safe..... in case you drive somewhere, sometime.

Houston or Bust pt 1
Hello I'm the Johnson's new Dell computer. They are very busy these days so they asked me if I could just blog it up on my own. So I did. Isn't Vista amazing? And yes I am referring to the Manhattan, KS based hamburger joint.
Here are a few of my favorite pictures they've uploaded to me lately.
Isn't she cute?
Isn't he claustrophobic?
She's so helpful.
And daring.

News and Such
Hello all. Now I realize that it's been a few weeks since our last post. I could give all sorts of excuses (I even started a post earlier this week but never got it done) but none of them would be sufficient. I'm a slacker. There it is.
Here are some pictures from the picnic we took last Saturday in St. Joseph. It was a beautiful, sunny day and we thoroughly enjoyed playing in a park and riding our bikes (except for a few encounters with some large birds that inhabited the park).
As I'm sure many of you know by now, life has been a little hectic in the Johnson household this week. Daddy got offered a job in Houston. He gets to work on the space suits at the Johnson Space Center! How cool is that?!! We only first heard about this opening last Friday when a fast talking man from New Jersey called and asked Daddy to spruce up his resume if he was interested. Needless to say, he was interested. So he worked his magic and sent it back. Tuesday he got a call to schedule the interview on Wednesday (there were a quite few more calls intermitently as well), and yesterday he got the call with an offer. Crazy, huh?! I don't know if it has really set in yet for Mommy & Daddy. They both seem a little dazed. I, personally, am jazzed (yes, I used jazzed). I've never seen an ocean and now I have a chance to live within miles of the Gulf. It should be pretty cool.
On a completely unrelated note, Daddy ordered us a new laptop and wireless router last night (we actually haven't had a wireless router before as the sentence seems to imply, anyway). Mommy & Daddy are very excited about this considering the fact that our current laptop will shut off if someone hiccups in Tulsa (we really need to get them to drink less). It has been very frustrating for the last few weeks because if you are doing something, you lose everything if you simply bump the laptop (or in Daddy's case, look at it). It will be a wonderful new addition and we are all very excited.
Anyway, I should get back to yelling and trying to pull things out of boxes.
As always,
Addilyn Elise
