Nonetheless, we got our tree and spent Saturday evening decorating it. Addilyn was a happy helper throughout the process.
Here she's helping Daddy arrange the lights.
And here she is participating in her first assembly line. Tyler would get out the ornaments and attach the hangers, then Addilyn would bring them to me to put on the tree. She seemed to enjoy her role immensely.
So here is the finished product.

and, wow you have a lot of gifts already. nice tree... no ginger bread men this year?
No gingerbread men. I also had to nix the idea of a popcorn and cranberry garland because food items might attract bugs (something you should never have to worry about in December, right?).
too bad. perhaps you should move to colorado... i'm pretty sure we should all be living in colorado.
