Day at the Museum

Last week was Tyler's fall break so we decided to take advantage of the extra family time and visit the Museum of Science and Industry.

Lego versions of the world's tallest buildings make Tyler and apparently Addilyn quite happy.

Addilyn and Tyler explored the Idea Factory where there were lots of different experiments to explain science concepts to kids Addilyn's age up to 10.

She had lots of fun playing with these balls and came out very wet and very happy.

Addilyn working the gears on this conveyor belt. So fun.

Snack time.

Addilyn showing off her new shoes. She thinks they're pretty cool.

Addilyn thoroughly enjoyed these phones. When we left this exhibit, she had to say goodbye to each of them.

Asher's first visit to a museum.

Addilyn and Daddy playing with the model trains.

It was a super fun trip. And because it was a free admission day, we found free parking (with only a short walk) and we brought our lunch, it was completely free! Who says enjoying the city has to be expensive?

good to know that things don't come alive during the day, like they do at night... at museums.
