Albert Eats

Albert has expanded his eating horizons greatly this past month.  Last month we had barely introduced rice cereal and a few pureed vegetables.  Now he has graduated to eating finger foods. We started with puffs.  They are some sort of grain and dissolve really easily so they aren't going to be too difficult for someone with only one tooth to mash and swallow.  As he's gotten more teeth, we branched out a bit.
 His first fruit was blueberries.
As you can see, he was a little disconcerted by the juices as his mashed his first one. "What is that!?!"
Luckily he decided that whatever it was, he didn't mind it...and blueberries were a hit!

Next we tried cantaloupe. It was cold so I thought it might feel good on his budding teeth. Once I cut off the rind completely (as he kept trying to eat it), he enjoyed it quite thoroughly.
Bananas.
They're okay.  He ate it but didn't seem to be thrilled about it. Must take after Tyler in that area.
Cheerios!  Such fun.  Look at that pincher action!
And with such precision he gets it to his mouth.  Cheerios are another big hit.  They are now the favorite for breakfast and snack time as well.
Finally, we let him have his way with a peach.  I remember that Elias really

enjoyed them.

Here he's about done with it.  He decimated it!
